AnyClip Wins $ 47 Million and Launches as ‘Visual Intelligence Company’
Israel-based AnyClip, a video content and advertising solutions provider, said on Tuesday it had raised $ 47 million in a new round of investment led by Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP). AnyClip has also relaunched as The Visual Intelligence Company, introducing an expanded platform for “a new era of video analytics” with next-generation AI tools.
Founded in 2006, AnyClip started out by enabling producers and content owners to develop, manage and distribute their video content on websites and social media and generate income. The company said it is now showcasing the first fully automated and centralized platform for video management, distribution, analytics and monetization, powered by its proprietary visual intelligence.
This technology will allow companies to “mobilize their latent video by extracting and revealing the data it contains via real-time tagging powered by AI, instantly transforming dormant video libraries into high-performance assets capable of being immediately discovered. , researched, measured and marketed, ”AnyClip said in a statement.
The company has reported a massive increase in revenue in 2020, with video production, broadcast and views at an all-time high, and businesses large and small are looking to adopt video strategies.
“Video is now the primary medium of communication for businesses around the world, but this tectonic shift to video has resulted in an endless amount of new content that is almost impossible to navigate,” said Gil Becker, president and CEO of AnyClip. “Our visual intelligence platform is helping to bring order to this chaos for companies of all industries, of all sizes and in all languages.
With this new funding, the company said it is growing “to meet the needs of a huge untapped market for an automated platform that makes videos easier to discover, actionable, and personalized.”
“A revolution is underway in the way businesses are using video to convey their message and identity,” says Erel Margalit, Founder and Chairman of JVP and Chairman of the Board of Anyclip. “For the first time, AI meets video. Businesses and organizations are now striving to use it to create a new way of communicating, internally and externally, in all areas where video dominates much more than text. It’s a new era, and AnyClip is a vital tool for anyone starting out. “
AnyClip has offices in New York, Tel Aviv, London and Berlin. Among his backers are Roman Abramovich’s Ervington Investments, former Sony America President and CEO Michael Schulhof and Limelight Networks.
