Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich used to send ex-manager Carlo Ancelotti a question mark every time the Blues lost – The US Sun

ROMAN ABRAMOVICH used to turn to former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti for advice when things weren’t going so well.
The Russian owner appointed the Italian in 2009 and he won the double before being sent off two years later.

Ancelotti is still highly regarded among Blues staff and supporters.
And it was revealed that he stayed in touch with Abramovich and the pair shared text messages about the team’s struggles.
Sky Italia reporter Fabio Caressa admitted: “Ancelotti told me that Abramovich also texted him, always the same one, especially at times when things weren’t going well.
“He only sent her a question mark.
“Instead, he, the genius that is Carlo, only answered him with an exclamation point.”
It seems the 62-year-old was in no mood to give his former club some of his wisdom.

And managing a rival club at Everton last season, Abramovich probably received no message from his former employer.
Ancelotti oversaw the Toffees’ 1-0 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park last season.
Maybe the Russian sent him another exclamation mark on this occasion.
Ancelotti left Merseyside last summer to return to another of his former clubs, Real Madrid.
The Italian beat Max Allegri in that role and has since taken Los Blancos back to the top of La Liga.
