Here’s a first look at Solaris, Roman Abramovich’s $ 610 million mega-yacht

In April of this year, Solaris was launched from the shipyard. According to the Daily Mail, he has since undergone sea trials, arriving in Barcelona, ââSpain, then settling in Cap d’Ail and then in Antibes, on the French Riviera, where he is now located. The UK tabloid has photos of Solaris, courtesy of yacht photographer Julien Hubert, but you can also see it in the video below.
The Solaris is 140 meters long, making it one of the 15 largest ships in the world and spanning eight decks in total. It offers accommodation for 36 guests and 60 crew in 48 cabins, and will be incredibly luxurious and secure. After all, he will not only carry one of the richest men in the world, but others like him as well.
With an advertised price of $ 610 million, Solaris comes with state-of-the-art security, including a radar-controlled missile detection system, bullet-proof windows, and armored protection. Two Azipods will bring it to a top speed of 18 knots and by all indications it could be an Explorer-class mega-yacht, allowing guests to get to the most remote places on the planet (which ‘Eclipse cannot do). This is all speculation from trade publications and industry sources: the details of a project like this are never made public.
From the recently redesigned photos and videos, you can see that Solaris will not be short of outdoor space: there is a generous pool and huge beach club at the back, and a hot tub on what must be the terrace. private owner. There’s also a helipad, folding side guest platforms, and a side-loading dinghy garage.
The video below also shows that, although completed, Solaris is not yet fully furnished. It’s probably only a matter of time: The Mail says Abramovich is expected on board as soon as he completes his vacation on Eclipse.
