Patrick Vieira makes tactical Crystal Palace admission ahead of Leicester visit
Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has hinted at how the Eagles will stage when they face Leicester City at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
The Foxes are expected to visit the capital today and will seek to end a worrying trend for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
City have won just one of their previous six games in all competitions, a 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Millwall.
But the Foxes will need to be focused and eager to leave from the first minute, with Vieira admitting Palace will bring the game to Leicester.
When asked if an offensive style of play similar to that which scored a point against Brighton will be deployed against Leicester, Vieira said in football. London: “This is something that we will try to do in every game, because that is how we want to approach all games.
âEspecially when you’re playing at home. We’re really lucky to have these fans behind our backs and push us to do well.
“So with the positivity that comes from the fans and the stadium, we have to use that energy to put the opposing team under pressure.”

Foxes midfielder named in ‘risky’ exchange deal with Real Madrid
Leicester City could be involved in a “risky swap” deal with Real Madrid in January, according to reports from Spain.
A number of European giants are reportedly keeping an eye on Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans, including Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old Belgium international has made 10 appearances in all competitions this season, providing two assists and one goal for the Foxes.
Tielemans still has over a year on his existing Leicester City contract and is linked with the Foxes until at least June 2023, but his impressive performances have made him a sought-after target across Europe.
Reports from abroad claim that Real Madrid are “very interested” in Tielemans. His ability to play anywhere in midfield is said to make him an attractive prospect for Los Blancos.
Spanish reports also add that Tielemans’ arrival would result in Casemiro leaving the Bernabeu in what ElNacional describes as a “risky swap deal” to sign the Leicester midfielder.

Premier League’s most popular Leicester City owners
Leicester City owners are the most popular in the Premier League, according to online research.
According to freebets.com analysis, the Srivaddhanaprabha family won the crown ahead of Tony Bloom of Brighton and Abramovich of Chelsea.
The website analyzed comments and tweets about every major shareholder in every Premier League club over a two-year period to determine who is most popular among fans on Twitter.
In a separate table combining popularity and finance, the Srivaddhanaprabhas rank second behind Roman Abramovich, but they are clearly ahead in popularity alone.
This result will come as no surprise to any of the Leicester fans, who have known the passion behind the family’s investment since they bought the club from Milan Mandaric in 2010.
