Roman Abramovich’s Russian ex-wife secretly moved from New York to Sardinia with her new husband

Dasha Zhukova, the daughter of a Russian oligarch and ex-wife of billionaire Roman Abramovich, has secretly moved to Sardinia with her new husband Stavros Niarchos, a Greek navy heir, sources say.
The top couple disappeared after sanctions were announced against Abramovich, forcing him to put his Chelsea football club up for sale.
For the first time in six years, Abramovich, a good friend of Vladimir Putin, was not on the Forbes list. His net worth has more than halved, from nearly $15 billion in January to $6.9 billion.
His ex-wife Dasha has closed his private museum in Moscow, the Garage, and withdrawn his children from private school in Manhattan, sources tell me.
She has two children with Abramovich and a baby with Niarchos, who dated reality TV star Paris Hilton, actress Mary-Kate Olsen and a host of models before settling down.
Paparazzi staked out his Upper East Side townhouse to no avail.
While Niarchos’ family have their own island in Greece, we’re told the couple have locked themselves in Sardinia, which is empty during its off-season. Alexander, Dasha’s high-profile father, has a complex there. The Russian-born businessman is listed as an oil titan.
When asked by an associate what he thought of Dasha marrying Abramovich, he replied, “Well, I guess that’s better than marrying a plumber.”

Pharrell Williams leads a group that wants to rebuild the Military Circle Mall in Norfolk, Virginia, and has an advantage over the other bidders as he is friends with the mayor’s son.
Norfolk Mayor Kenneth Alexander has a son, Terrion Maleke Jones – aka Li’l Terrion, aka Young Money Yawn – in the rap music business.
Williams and his rapper friend Pusha T, real name Terrance Thornton, are said to mentor the mayor’s son.
The consortium of Williams and music mogul Irving Azoff, through his Oak View Group, is one of three finalists hoping to rebuild the mall, part of a billion-dollar plan for an arena, hotel and light rail.
City council members, while including a father wanting to show his gratitude for helping his son, see the mayor’s action as a conflict of interest.
Jared Chalk of the Norfolk Economic Development Agency downplayed the mayor’s input, saying: ‘The EDA, a subdivision of the state, owns the land, not the city of Norfolk.’
Williams has longstanding ties to the community, although he moved his 2022 Something in the Water music festival from Norfolk to the much larger RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.

Driving a caravan of refrigerated trucks from France to war-torn Ukraine felt like a real cannonball race, said Thomas Donohoe, marketing director of Cuisine Solutions.
Donohoe, the only American in the mission who delivered 400,000 meals to the refugees, said: “I was rightly ridiculed for speaking only one language.
Along with Stanislas Vilgrain, president of the Virginia-based vacuum company, and 15 other crew members, the caravan drove 24 hours straight from Lyon, France, through Germany and past Warsaw, Poland.
The sous vide technique was perfect for this mission, providing frozen pre-cooked meals that could be stored for a long time in refrigerated trucks and simply reheated to provide hot meals.

April 20 cannot officially be called National Marijuana Day, as pot is still illegal in most states, but it is a day celebrated nationwide by the most serious smokers.
This 4/20 will be no exception when Snoop Dogg, arguably the most famous stoner of them all, performs in concert that night at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. The show is already sold out, grossing over $1 million in ticket sales.

The audience at the opening of “Paradise Square” on Broadway included former Mayor Bill de Blasio and current Mayor Eric Adams.
The plot involves two interracial New York couples in the 1860s.
Joe Crowley, who was replaced in Congress by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is a producer, and Adams thanked him in a speech before the curtain.
“Great performances by people I had never heard of,” my source said. “Some of the best dancing on Broadway. Not the advertised bombshell. Hope it survives.”
“Take Me Out” opened a few nights later. Due to a group shower scene, each audience member must place cell phones in sealed bags, which are unsealed at intermission if necessary, then resealed up to the curtain.
“At this point, who cares?” said my source, who called the show “awesome” despite not being a baseball fan.

Jacqueline Kennedy’s last husband, Aristotle Onassis, gave her a 40-carat diamond ring. She told her sister Lee Radziwill she was “so vulgar”, she only wore it once.
The Greek shipping tycoon also gifted his daughter Christina with a 38-carat diamond-studded Harry Winston necklace, which is being sold by MS Rau for over $7million.
Christina’s only daughter, Athina, sold the necklace at auction in 2008 after her mother died of a heart attack, leaving an estate worth $250 million, or $600 million today.
