AUGUSTA – Senator Chloe Maxmin, D-Nobleboro, received a perfect score on the 2021 Legislative Dashboard from Democracy Maine for her voting record to clean up state government, take money out of politics and to protect democracy. Senator Maxmin was one of 15 members of the Senate from Maine to achieve a perfect score.
“I am grateful for this recognition and proud of the many important reforms we have been able to achieve this year,” said Senator Maxmin. “In today’s changing political climate, it is more important than ever to ensure that voters in Maine are the ones in the driver’s seat. With so many voters choosing not to register with any political party, I am especially pleased that the Legislature supported my bill to allow unregistered voters to participate in critical primary races.
