Worrisome Chelsea statistics could force Roman Abramovich to sanction Harry Kane’s £ 150million signing | Football | sport

Chelsea have a worrying goal statistic which could encourage the club to sanction a £ 150million transfer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer.
The England captain has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Spurs at the end of the season, and the Blues are one of the few clubs that can afford it.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are set to finish in the Premier League’s top four despite the lack of a regular scorer.
Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner jointly top the list for most of the club’s goals in all competitions. The couple both have 12, although Abraham has only scored once since Tuchel arrived on January 25.
Werner has only scored half of his top-flight goals and has endured a delicate first season at Stamford Bridge since arriving of £ 47million from RB Leipzig this summer.

Pep Guardiola’s side are one of the few clubs that can afford to sign Kane, who earns £ 200,000 a week. Chelsea, Man Utd and the French side of Paris Saint-Germain are the others.
Kane has scored 32 times in all competitions this season and has scored six career goals against Chelsea in 16 appearances.
His desire to leave Spurs is largely due to a lack of trophies.
Chelsea’s victory over Leicester, which comes after their FA Cup loss to the Foxes three days earlier, has all but confirmed their Champions League qualification for next season.
Playing in the elite European competition for a side that could win it again against Man City later this month could prompt Kane to join.
